NEXT CHOICE
‘Impacting the choices of this generation'
A Public School Program presented by Casey Cease
In High School, Casey Cease began making poor
choices, which led him down a destructive path. In order to fit in, he
started drinking. At first, his drinking was done in moderation and on
an occasional basis. As time went on, his drinking became more
problematic. The consequences of Casey's drinking were made glaringly
real to him in July of 1995. It was then that Casey was involved in a
drinking and driving accident that resulted in the death of his friend.
‘Next Choice' is an intense 30-45 minute
presentation in which Casey shares how the poor choices he made
ultimately led to a tragic accident where his friend was killed.
Throughout the presentation he strongly emphasizes that choices made
today can have lasting impact, both positive and negative.
Casey has spent the last 12 years speaking to
thousands of students throughout the U.S. sharing his story and
challenging them to live a life contrary to what society deems as
normal. He is available for School Assemblies on the Middle School,
High School, and College Campuses as well as other community
organizations.

Recommendations:
"Briarwood could not have had a more effective
speaker on the topic of self-respect than Casey Cease! His ability to
tailor two 50 minute presentations to two distinct age groups, Middle
and Upper Schools, was greatly appreciated. While religious ministry is
a significant part of his personal mission, he was able to meet
Briarwood's need for a powerful and secular message. He masterfully
wove a story around personal life experiences to illustrate the
importance of self-respect, making positive choices, and love for self
and others. Casey's energy, passion, experience and positive approach
translates easily to students as a sincere care for them as people and
for their futures."

"Thank you so much for the message presented in
the assembly you gave to our 7th-12th grade students. We have had such
positive feedback and students saying, 'Please have more speakers talk
to us like Casey did.' In a very short time you touched them with your
personal experiences and plea to consider consequences of decisions
they might be faced with. I would highly recommend your presentation to
other schools. It is so vital that students today realize the impact
that the decisions they make today will affect them for the rest of
their lives. We must all work together to try to make that a positive
and rewarding experience for our youth."
